Captain Dangerous are a five piece off-kilter pop band from Nottingham, UK. They’ve had their music used all over the world by the likes of Microsoft as well as numerous television syncs (including Channel ‘s Fresh Meat and promos for abc’s Grey’s Anatomy). Dangerous are a kind of amalgamation of Pavement, Hefner, and The Clash. They frequently play shows on a larger scale accompanied by an orchestra to augment their bombastic arrangements. The debut album “The Empire Never Ended” was released through I’m Not From London Records in 2013. Currently in the studio working on the follow up, Captain Dangerous plan to release the “Hang Your Head in Shame Darlin’” EP on 10” vinyl in Summer 2014.
